The ALAMINOS CITY LIBRARY was established to serve the various needs of the general public. It gives valuable touchstone to the general reader desiring to broaden his horizon. Inaugurated on June 30, 2004 the ACL with a total area of 265.95 sq.m. was housed at the first floor at the right side of the new City Hall building strategically located at the heart of the City. It contains more or less 9,000 collections for use by the reading public  including elementary, high school, college and out-of-school youth, also to professionals. It employs competent staff, maintains appropriate & extensive facilities, collects & organize relevant materials and it adopts an open shelf system.
